Myles West Equestrian covering Surrey, Sussex and Kent

Myles West is an experienced, freelance rider and trainer offering professional breaking, schooling and tuition. His aim is to provide the highest quality education and assist in the development of a successful partnership between horse and rider across any equestrian discipline.

Specialising in young and problem horses Myles’ many years of experience has enabled him to develop the knowledge and skill needed to sympathetically train and correct both horse and rider. Always keen for a challenge, Myles’ patient but “can do” positive attitude and wealth of experience means he can teach and train anyone at any age and ability and is excellent at imparting his knowledge in a clear and concise manner.

Myles is regularly out competing in show jumping, dressage and eventing on clients horses, whether it is taking them schooling for experience, competing them on behalf of the owner or to help in the sale of a horse. He is often seen at many different shows keeping a watchful eye on his clients too. He gained lots of experience competing in all disciplines on a variety of horses at different stages of their career, whilst working for various professionals in the UK and abroad. He has also prepared both horse and rider for the show ring.
